what's my word today : GOAL

this morning i got an email, and its contain these.

A goal is something that you want. It can be money, power, strength, success, wisdom, knowledge, a family, peace, or relaxation. We all have different goals. If you come to my website every day, your goal is to learn English.

The word of the day is....

                   goal

What are your goals for learning English? In which area or areas do you want to improve? Is it in grammar? Pronunciation?Reading? Or do you just want to be able to have a simple conversation? You could have many goals. The important thing, however, is to work on achieving your goals every day.

If you want to improve your English, make time to study regularly and try to follow a routine when you study. People who go to my website, for instance, work on the lesson for the day, read and listen to the Word of the Day, and work through thepronunciation exercises. I know this because I can see where visitors go. What do you like to do when you come for a visit? Whatever it is, try to be consistent and spend at least 30 minutes to one hour each time you go online. Use your time wisely.

When you learn something new or when you are completing the exercises, write your answers in a notebook. Writing is better than clicking on answers because the act of writing should help you remember what you are learning. Date each entry. Later, you can look back at your notebook to see how much you have accomplished. If you have a goal, it's important to have some evidence that you are working on reaching it.
